This morning I visited the
Babcock-Webb WMA, arriving there at 7:30. I spent most of my time
checking the three Marl Ponds and driving the asphalt road along Webb
Lake. The lake level is about a foot below normal, but is gradually
filling after being pumped down in the spring. Not many birds were seen
during my two hours there. However, there were a lot of people. A
large group (at least 15) people were kayaking Webb Lake. I also saw
several fishermen and a group of about 6 bicycle riders, plus several
using the gun range. A busy place this morning. Following is the data
I submitted to eBird.
