During a typical year, I will average one or two field trips every week, usually more during the winter months and less during the summer months.  I may take these trips by myself or with a friend, or as part of a group, such as the Thursday birding group I go with during the winter months or field trips sponsored by our local camera club (Photo Adventures Camera Club) or the local Audubon group.  If I’m with a group, birding is my main focus with photography being secondary.  When by myself, photography is usually my main focus.
